PRACTICAL WORKSHOPS
NEXT WORKSHOP: DATE TBC
I pride myself in creating a supportive and fun learning environment, where you can work at your own pace within a group. My hope is that you will fundamentally learn and take things away from the workshop that will have a positive impact on your training.
There will be a strong focus on correct execution of form, activation of target muscles and mind/muscle connection. I aim to create a safe and welcoming environment where open discussion will be encouraged throughout the day, as well as specific time put aside to answer any questions you may have regarding what we have covered, and also other subjects related to training, such as nutrition, mindset and lifestyle.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS HAVE TO SAY...
"I attended Lucy's weight lifting course this January and absolutely loved it. Lucy is so approachable and knowledgeable. We went through many different lifts and exercises and had a chance to really get into them. Not only did I learn so much but I met some amazing ladies. It was an incredibly supportive experience and we've even kept in touch in a messenger group, cheering each other on. Lucy provided a fun, safe space to have a go. I came back to my own workouts with confidence and excitement. It was so motivating! I would definitely book on another course in the future."

"Attending Lucy's workshop was one of the best things I have ever done. Lucy has so much knowledge which she delivers in a fun and interesting way. You just want to absorb everything she is teaching you. Lucy demonstrates a real passion to impart her knowledge to others and ensure the best technique for safe and productive lifts. Lucy has really motivated me to work hard in the gym but to also listen to when your body wants a break and take it. Lucy talks a lot of sense and demonstrates a fun and sensible approach to training. I would highly recommend attending one of Lucy's workshops if you get the chance!"

The next workshop will be held at Improve Glasgow:
Although I’d like to be able to work with everyone, extreme levels of ability in a group isn’t going to work well, so I will be looking to work with people with some prior lifting experience. You don’t have to consider yourself an expert by any means or have been lifting for years or anything like that (and we all have weaker areas we need to work on and I’d like to help with these if I can), but unfortunately it won’t be suitable for absolute beginners. Spaces will be limited to no more than 10 individuals to ensure that I am able to offer the kind of service, support and guidance I want to provide.
The workshop will run Sunday from 10am-5pm.
